Imperial part with Console Manager
Today we announce that Imperial eSports have parted company with current console manager, Kerry 'KerrBearr' Bennett. Kerry was a recent addition to the console setup but has already decided that her time within the organisation is up.
Kerry's sudden departure is somewhat of a surprise as she was given clear details and guidelines upon joining being given the opportunity to represent Imperial eSports in a console manager role.
Kerry has already stated that she has joined another organisation so with that in mind, we would like to wish her luck and hopefully she will find what she is looking for in her next organisation.
Imperial will not be looking for a new console manager in the immediate future.

Imperial Take On MW2 Team For EGE
Tonight I would like to announce our new Modern Warfare 2 Team for EGE. After having Quality and Shane as part of our COD4 Roster at ECL, we are excited to continue that partnership and take on two new additions for MW2, Switch and Swanny. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome them all on board and hope they do well at EGE and most of all, have fun.
Captain of the Imperial MW2 Team Richie 'Switch' Atkins had this to say about joining:
I'm really glad to get a team sorted for EGE, especially this line up as I have known all the lads for a few years now. Really think with a bit of game time we can do some damage. Also like to thank Kerry and Chris for letting us rep Imperial. See you at LAN guys. I LOVE FRASER.
Our new MW2 Team are as follows:
Richie 'Switch' Atkins
Callum 'Swanny' Swan
Jamie 'Quality' Edwards
Shane 'Shane' McKerral
Imperial would like to welcome the new duo to the team.

Imperial announce FIFA return
After losing our star FIFA line up to rival UK organisation, Team-dignitas, we have considered our position within the FIFA community and whether or not we wished to continue supporting the title. FIFA is a game that we have supported since day one and we have regularly been a support of new and unproven talent. Therefore, we decided to make a return with a player who ticks those boxes.
Although our new addition has begun to prove himself, his history of LAN attendance or lack of has affected his ability to prove himself within the FIFA scene, however, all that changed when he attended ECL and made his mark placing 5th place and beating some good players along the way.
I am of course talking about Olly 'Shawzi' Shaw. Shawzi is the first addition to our new FIFA team for FIFA11 and we are currently scouting the FIFA scene for more untapped talent in a bid to once again be a dominant force on FIFA.
Olly had this to say about joining Imperial Esports:
I am extremely happy to be joining Imperial. Having received a fair few offers after ECL for some reason this one stood out. I would like to thank Chris and all of the other management at Imperial for this opportunity. Also like to thank Vanity for an awesome stay and thank you for all the support you guys gave me at ECL. I can’t wait to take on the new Dignitas.Fifa at all upcoming LANs.
I would like to welcome Olly to Imperial on behalf of everyone involved with the organisation.

I would personally like to thank Microsoft for their support and look forward to a long and successful partnership.

Imperial Reign Down On PS3
Joining us this week is the very well established and committed Call of Duty team who was previously known under the organisation Reign.
With their consistent top placements in tournaments such as EUeSports 1 night cup, by taking first place and knocking out teams in the process such as Royalty and 4D. Imperial are happy to have them represent us as our PS3 Call of Duty team.
With PS3 Call of Duty becoming ever more popular, we hope the team do well and will support them through online tournaments and LAN events.
The current Imperial PS3 CoD team are as follows:
Okkes 'Zilla' Alici
Andrew 'AJ' McClure
Richard 'Rich' Cook
Cedrick 'Ced' Odompleh
Alex 'Alex' Lilley
The Captain of the team had this to say about joining Imperial:
It’s a pleasure to be joining the imperial as the PS3 squad, with PS3 LANs being arranged and talked about in the community we felt we needed a more established organisation to play under. So we were really happy when Chris and Kerry were interested in us. We hope to achieve many things at imperial and not let them down.

Imperial with post ECL Changes!
Following a great weekend at ECL in Liverpool, Imperial eSports would like to announce a number of changes to our set up over two of our titles.
Firstly, our ECL winning Gears of War team are making a change that will hopefully benefit the team long term. After an amazing performance by our last minute sub, MegaD, we have made a move to find a more permanent replacement. With that in mind we welcome a player with an amazing Gears of War history including 1st place at XL3, XL4, XL5, GameLand Rome, Fariko LAN and of course, 4th place at MLG Toronto. I am of course talking about Dutchman Jim 'Aridity' Sloeserwij.
Jim has teamed with MAXPAX and Dark Angel a number of times in the past and has also teamed with fellow Dutchman, Gimbly so it is hoped that Jim will fit straight into the squad.
That means that the Imperial Gears of War line up is now
Vince 'Dark Angel' Pope
Jim 'Aridity' Sloeserwij
Thierry 'Gimbly' Arss
Chris 'MAXPAX' Stretton
I would like to welcome Jim to the team and look forward to working with him in the future.
Unfortunately, we have some bad news following the event. After winning the FIFA tournament, Adam 'AdamW' Winster has announced that he is following former team mate, Robert 'Sensation' Brewster to team dignitas. Ultimately, this ceases Imperial Esports' involvement in UK FIFA.
FIFA 10 has been an extremely successful season for Imperial Esports. The following are the achievements of our FIFA line up over the 2010 version of the game:
ECL Liverpool
Gateshead GameHero
Electronic Sports World Cup UK National Finals
FIFA.DK eStar 1v1
FIFA.DK eStar 2v2
Supreme Gamer
Supreme Gamer Manchester
FIFA Interactive World Cup UK Nationals
Together with our FIFA team we have enjoyed a lot of success in both this season and in previous seasons and for that I would like to thank the players involved.
But this opens up a new chapter of Imperial's FIFA support and Imperial Esports will be scouting new players for the 2011 version of the game and hopefully we can come back better than ever before.
Imperial Esports would like to wish both Adam and Rob good luck in their new organisation.
