| The Imperial Summer Madness LAN |
On the weekend of July 10th 2009, The Imperial will be holding its very own Counter Strike source LAN. This will take place in the well known LAN Cafe; Starbytes in Southampton. Starbytes has been a long time supporter of esports, in particular Counter Strike:Source, having hosted many events for the game sicne it's release including the WCG lan qualifiers. With their recent refit and expert admins at hand we are certain that this will be an evet to be remembered.
We will be using The Imperial's website to invite the teams, sign them up and keep you posted on all going on as well as the starbytes site itself.
As everyone knows a LAN is nothing without some big prizes.
There will be atleast a £1200 prize pot and will be looking to increase with some big announcements to come. It will be a BYOC event but there are 8-10 PC's to rent but the entry fee will increase if this service is used.
Also there will be a sleeping area on the bottom floor for roughly 20 gamers! This will be first come first served so please let an admin know as early as possible if you require to sleep at the event.

How to register for the event
1. Register yourself with an account on The Imperial website.
2. Write in the forum post with; player names, steam ids and total amount being paid. This is because the BYOC entry is different to TUP.
3. You will receive payment information by email and upon receiving this.
Registration costs 250 £ for 5 players and one manager / extra player ( 5 BYOC Slots ). Spectators can come for free.
